Hot Hot Hot Cool

OK so it's been a bit hot, in fact very hot, the girls have been cooling off in the paddling pool and having a lovely time playing with the hose, other than drinking it, their favourite thing to do is to try and hose each other or N-G-O. We haven't had to use the pool in a few days as we've had a lovely cool change come through, which means more time outside and playing on the swings and slippery dip.

It's also party season and the girls are having a lovely time putting on their 'pretties' to go to parties etc. Chloe thought she looked pretty good on Friday night in her blue outfit!
Eliza is continuing to grow quickly! And is so smiley, it's a wonder her cheeks don't get sore!
Another busy weekend coming up, and not long now til 'Sam' (aka Santa) comes for Christmas!

An update

OK, so things have been pretty busy with harvest etc! I really take my hat off to single parents, I do not know how they do it! They must be the most organised, calm, patient people in the world! I have been so excited with the end of harvest fast approaching and still several weeks to go til Christmas!! WOO HOO!
So we had harvest and the girls only snuck in one ride on the header for some Canola. A few little rides on the chaser bin and then we went to Sydney...... and the rest is history!

We had a lovely time in Sydney catching up with people and a big Thank You to Janie and Aaron for a LOVELY wedding!
Eliza is growing like a mushroom - as you can see and she is the happiest little girl! Lucky with sisters like Chloe and Alison, who try to kill her with kindness!
It's very hard to get a picture of all three (hence the blurred one above), but we keep trying!
Alison has decided she loves spaghetti bolognese and shoves it in, in great handfuls and makes a lovely mess!
The girls LOVE their new puppy N-G-O, they feed him and play with him and try to pick him up!

Chloe has been giving Eliza lessons on how to play on the mat, as you can see it's very serious business!

Hot day today, in fact VERY hot day today, we might go wading in the paddling pool this afternoon!

Holiday Snapshots

Chloe and Alison had a little holiday in Sydney with Nana and Grandpa and got spoilt by having lots of trips to the park and Alison got to wear lots of pretty necklaces. Nana and Grandpa then bought them up to Port Macquarie where we met them with Eliza and stayed for a few nights.

The girls had lots of fun doing new things, we picked strawberries (Alison liked to pick the green ones though) We went to the beach to build sandcastles, it was still a bit too cold to get them into the water.

We took them to Jumbos playland where Alison's favourite thing was to drive around the race track in the cars, while Chloe's favourite thing was to run around trying to fill up Alison's car with fuel!
Eliza was happy to kick back and listen to all the chaos going on around her!
Will put a few more photos up as well, of the Koala Hospital, Alison trying to pick up Eliza and Alison's first Chocolate Ice Cream Cone!
We did have a lovely break, it was just the Looooooong trip home that wasn't fun!

Harvest Fast Approaching

Last weekend we took all the girls to Coonamble to check out the crops and see how long until harvest....quite soon really!
Chloe learnt how to count grains and practiced her counting, while Alison found it hard to walk in the wheat, and had to concentrate hard to stay upright.
Eliza is growing every day and giving us lots of smiles.

Will put some holiday snaps up soon.

A Busy Couple of Weeks

So a few weeks until I last posted isn't as bad as a few months! Chloe is still keen to help look after Eliza and wants to hold her every chance she gets. At the moment Chloe is keen to do almost anything to be able to have a hold!
We had a quick trip to Canberra and back and Eliza proved to be an excellent traveller and was very well behaved the whole trip, she likes sleeping in her capsule, so that made things a whole lot easier.

We spent Father's Day down at Armatree and Alison and Chloe both wore their pretty dresses for the outing, Alison in particular liked to show off her walking skills in her dress.
A quieter week this week, morning tea, day care and some time at home.

New Adventures

Well it's been a busy time since coming home, although we have managed to leave the house a few times so we must be doing OK. Eliza is learning to shop, she's done the groceries a few times already

Alison has been having lots of fun walking, although she has the daycare staff conned that she can't walk so they carry her!
Chloe has been hard at work mastering the art of pedalling her bike and she's not doing too badly.
Alison has also mastered the art of climbing ladders, and climbs to the top of the cubby so she can come down the slippery dip.
We had been enjoying warm sunny days outside until this morning and now it's freezing so we'll be doing some cooking!

Chloe has been enjoying holding Eliza, but Alison is more interested in poking her at the moment than holding.
The girls have also been showing me how to use the crosstrainer, although I think they think it's more of a swing than part of exercise!

Until next time.
